Lamar Odom is getting
the help he needs.
According to a new report, Khloe Kardashian's husband
entered a drug and alcohol rehab center in LA within the last few days. The
move comes after his arrest for DUI on early Friday morning.
California
Highway Police pulled him over after noticing he was driving slow -- 50 mph --
on the 101 Freeway. Cops say Lamar had been driving in a "serpentine
manner." He failed numerous field sobriety tests. He was booked and released on $15,000 bail.
The past few months have been very trying for Khloe, 29, and
Lamar, 33. Along with two women claiming they carried on extramarital affairs
with Lamar, the 6-foot-10 athlete has also been reportedly hiding a serious
drug problem.
Addiction runs in Lamar's family. In 2011, the NBA free agent
opened up about his father Joe's issues with drugs.
"My father's a heroin addict," he revealed on the season
premiere ofKhloe & Lamar.
"I had my mother around until I was 12 years old when she passed away
and after that my father wasn’t around.
He continued, "I witnessed things that a 10-year-old
definitely wasn’t supposed to see… It’s hard for me to speak up on it and get
it through to Khloe because she grew up so different."
Khloe and Lamar tied the knot in September 2009 after a whirlwind
one-month romance.
