Report: Sean Kingston Settles Gang Rape Suit

Sean Kingston
Sean Kingston has settled out of court with Carissa Capeloto, the 22-year-old woman who was suing him for allegedly gang raping her in his hotel room following a performance at a Justin Beiber concert in 2010; and it's not an admission of guilt, sources told TMZ.
"Her story wasn't consistent," said one of the Kingston camp insiders. "She told various stories throughout her interviews with police ... The medical report had no indications of force."
The sources said the rapper/singer settled for an undisclosed amount because he doesn't have time for a trial due to his upcoming tour and album release.

"Focus on what matters the most to you! And that's my music!!" Kingston tweeted out Saturday (Aug. 31), along with an Instagram pic of the cover art for his new album, Back 2 Life.
Despite the settlement, however, Kingston is still running into trouble from the lawsuit. The University of Western Ontario canceled his Sept. 7 performance for their orientation week because of a "zero tolerance for sexual assault."
"Having Mr. Kingston perform could cloud the values surrounding O-Week," a school rep told TMZ.
Capeloto accused Kingston, a former bodyguard of his, and a band member of taking advantage of her while she was "obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent," after inviting her to his hotel room for what she thought was a post-concert meet-and-greet. She filed a civil suit recently for $5 million. Police had cleared Kingston of criminal charges.
