Four(4) Burnt To Death In An Auto Crash

Four persons including a female were on Sunday morning burnt to death in a ghastly motor accident near Lambata village in Kwali, along Abuja-Lokoja road.
They were rushed to Kwali General hospital by officials of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).
Three out of the four passengers who sustained various degrees of burns died at the hospital after they were rescued by the officials, while the remaining one person, died on the spot.
According to eyewitness report, the accident happened around 9:55 am when a commuter Hiace bus with registration number LG 31 TTD collided with an oncoming Volkswagen Golf with registration number LSD 472 AQ.
The on-coming bus overtook dangerously and in the process collided with an oncoming Golf car before it went up in flames.
Yangoji unit commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Austine Chukwudi Okeke, confirmed the accident.
He said the corpses have been deposited at the hospital morgue while 16 other passengers who sustained injuries were also taken to the same Kwali hospital for treatment.
