Kanye's
seventh album now matches his new toilet seats. The RIAA gave Yeezus
the Gold certification Tuesday (Aug. 12), after eight weeks on the chart

The
album is still 'Ye's lowest-selling and arguably most experimental to
date, however, with only 10-tracks, no radio single and no pre-sales, it entered the Billboard charts at the top slot, moving 327,000 units in its first week and besting J. Cole's Born Sinner and Mac Miller's Watching Movies With the Sound Off.
And even though he experienced a huge drop in sales the second week
(80%), the Chicago-bred rapper has continued with his no-marketing
marketing strategy. His fans seem to be getting that.
Yeezy can also celebrate this week the more traditional marketing maneuvering of one of his artists, Big Sean. Def Jam recently awarded the Detroit rapper with a plaque honoring his sales of 10 million singles. Sean's top-selling songs include "Dance (A$$) Remix" featuring Nicki Minaj and G.O.O.D. Music's "Clique" and "Mercy."
