I
think he was trying to make a point, he's got a daughter now and he
doesn't want them up in her face, he's just letting them know how
serious he is about that and that's his right, the paps put celebrities
lives at risk on a daily basis, people can argue and say its the price
they pay for fame but it still doesn't make it right
TMZ reports
that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating West following
this incident. They have interviewed the photographer, and will refer
the case to the district attorney as a felony robbery. Previous:
Kanye West and the paparazzi just don't mix. As if last week's "don't talk me" incident didn't convey 'Ye's feelings, this latest run-in most certainly will.
West was involved in an altercation with a pap that required assistance from paramedics Friday (July 19), TMZ reports. The scene of the crime? The airport, of course.
The 35-year-old was walking out of LAX with a bodyguard headed to a chauffeured car, and immediately hounded by a group of photographers. One among the bunch was particularly aggressive, peppering him with a mixture of sarcastic questions and compliments. At first West stops and calmly approaches. "What you're trying to do is get me in trouble," he says. "So I'll have to pay you like $250,000!"
Then he attacks. The Chicago native lunges at the cameraman, the tape goes blurry and West flees in the waiting car.
In another angle captured by another cameraman, West is seen trying to grab the antagonizing photographer's camera.
