Chris Brown isn't always on the losing end of the law. Every once in a while he notches a win. A judge ruled that he and Drake won't be held responsible for a $16 million lawsuit stemming from the brawl between their entourages at New York City's W.I.P. nightclub last June.
The suit was filed by Entertainment Enterprises, the owners of neighboring hot spot Greenhouse nightclub. The venue, which is across the street from W.I.P., alleged that Breezy and Drizzy's bottle-throwing melee resulted in hits to their finances and reputation. The judge however disagreed, throwing out the suit and absolving both parties of any financial liability.

Drake and Brown's altercation (reportedly over Rihanna) spawned other lawsuits as well, like one brought on by NBA baller Tony Parker who was in the club at the time of the incident. W.I.P. moved to have his $20 million suit dismissed.
The recent dismissal comes with a series of upswings for the "Fine China" singer. Over the weekend, Brown handed out 1,000 pairs of Reebok sneakers to kids in Compton and released a new song from his forthcoming X, "Love More" featuring Nicki Minaj.
