Being a father hasn't calmed Kanye West
down, when it comes to the paparazzi at least. Mr. West had yet another
face-to-face exchange with a prying photog this afternoon (July 12) at
LAX airport.
'Ye hopped out a of car at the airport with a phone to his ear and was immediately hounded by a TMZ camera man,
who used praise as his method to elicit a response. Addressing West as
"Yeezus" and saying "I love your work," wasn't enough to win the Chicago
native over and it actually irritated him more. So he very calmly
explained why the photographer should never think about speaking — ever in life. "Don't talk," West said. "I don't wanna hear paparazzi talk to me, or anybody I know."
The pap's rebuttal? He pulled the "I'm a field reporter" card, but
West wasn't done delivering doctrine. "Don't talk to me at all, and
don't talk to anyone I know. At all," he said. "And tell everybody never
talk to anyone. At all."
From there things got a little heated. The 36-year-old, still deep in
the advice session, added some base to his voice. "And tell everybody
never talk to anyone, that anyone knows! Don't talk to themselves, don't
talk ever again!"
Just when West thought his point was made, the photographer replied, "I
love you though," and continued to follow the "New Slaves" rapper, at
which point he palms the camera lens before the recording cuts off.
West has had a publicly tumultuous relationship with the paparazzi, a stark contrast from girlfriend Kim Kardashian,
who's mostly polite about her celebrity. In Yeezy's defense, at least
he's been consistent. When a pohtograper offered belated birthday wishes
last month West replied, "Don't ever talk!"
Clearly the paps aren't listening.
